  • Meetings are held away from the client office and in the unique environment of The Center for Intelligent Leadership offices.
  • The program includes tools to gain insights from colleagues’ perspectives (an interview-based, narrative multi-rater 360 report) and a sophisticated personality system to assess each client’s individual core drivers of behavior and attitude.

Cohort Leadership Development Program

Leadership as a Practice

A Cohort Program for Organizational Leaders

This one-year program combines group meetings, coaching, readings, exercises and ongoing practices designed to deeply enhance leadership capacity through self-awareness, other awareness and conversational intelligence.  It is a unique program aimed at in-depth mastery of Leadership as a Practice.

Program Design:

The group of leaders meets one morning per month at The Center for Intelligent Leadership.  Cohort members commit to each other that they will do the work associated with the program and that they will make a committed effort to attend all monthly sessions.  Typically, there are between six and eight participants.

The work between monthly sessions is not cumbersome, but can be very powerful.  It consists of some reading and much relection and practice.  This process results in sustainable and meaningful personal changes and greater leadership effectiveness.

Outcomes:

The envisioned outcome for each participant is:

  • Deepen your understanding of what drives you and what triggers you - beyond being aware of your general behavioral tendencies
  • Greater insight about what barriers keep you from doing what you know you should be doing
  • Enhanced emotional intelligence and emotional maturity
  • Deeper understanding of what drives others and triggers others
  • Develop a methodology and practice to more clearly understand others
  • Learn how to deeply connect with others for more creative and sustainable collaboration
  • Enhance "deep listening" capacity
  • Develop a conversational intelligence that facilitates aspiration and enthusiasm, deeper understanding, creative possibilities and effective action
  • Leverage authentic diversity and the unique creative capacities of yourself and others
  • More effectively gain commitment and accountability
  • Learn to use meetings appropriately and effectively
