Introduction to the Nine Domains ℠ Approach

  • Our work with teams begins by assessing the levels of self-awareness and other awareness at which the team (or organization) is functioning.  Deeper awareness increases the level of functioning which leads to greater leadership capacity. 
  • Tools are used to assess the team’s (or organization’s) level of functioning in nine critical domains or capacities.  These capacities are considered necessary and sufficient for a team or organization to thrive.
  • These capacities are viewed systemically; that is, the nine domains are viewed as interdependent and, therefore, our assessment provides a realistic mapping of the team's current leadership culture.
  • The assessment process allows the program to begin at the appropriate point (based on the level of functioning) and the opportunities for team growth and development can be targeted based on the assessed capacities in each domain and the interrelationships across domains.

Building the Sustainable Collaborative Culture

  • Beginning at the appropriate level and proceeding at the appropriate pace, individual team members and the team as a whole develop deeper self-awareness and other-awareness.
  • A program is designed that combines group coaching, readings, exercises and ongoing practices to deeply enhance the team's leadership capacity and collaborative culture through self awareness, other awareness and conversational intelligence.
  • In the end, trust and collaboration become the pillars for unleashing the authentic diversity of the team to innovate and to lead.
  • The program length and intensity is determined based on team/organizational level of functioning and is customized to the needs of the organization.
